The Regional Commission for Private Practice is convened by its Chairman. The commission’s secretariat is provided by the regional health agency. Commission members are bound by medical and professional confidentiality and discretion. The Commission meets at least once a year and whenever a matter is referred to it by the authorities listed in article R. 6154-15.

I. – When, in application of article L. 6154-6, the Regional Commission for Private Practice is consulted by the Director General of the Regional Health Agency on the suspension or withdrawal of a practitioner’s authorisation to practise, the Chairman of the Commission appoints a rapporteur from among the members of the Commission, who is responsible for examining the case and has no relationship of interest with the practitioner or the…

Each year, the Regional Commission for Private Practice draws up a report on all its activities. The report is sent to the Director General of Healthcare Provision and to the Director General of the Regional Health Agency. The general part of the report is made public.
