Article L. 1451-1 applies to full and alternate members of the Commission and to persons taking part in its work.

The travel expenses of the full or alternate members of the National Medical Biology Commission and of the persons who take part in its work are reimbursed under the conditions laid down in the regulations applicable to civil servants.

Employers are required to allow staff from public health establishments who are members of the Commission nationale de biologie médicale the time they need to attend and participate in meetings of this body.

The committee draws up its own rules of procedure.
