Second and third cycle maieutics students may be authorised to carry out part of their practical training with midwives approved as university training supervisors, under conditions laid down by decree. The conditions for the approval of midwives approved as university training supervisors, which include compulsory training with the university of their choice or any other approved body, are laid down by decree in the Conseil d’Etat.
