Members of the Commission and persons taking part in its work are subject to the obligations set out in Article L. 1451-1.

The Commission draws up its own rules of procedure, which set out the conditions under which it operates. They are forwarded to the conciliation and compensation commissions for medical accidents, iatrogenic diseases and nosocomial infections, which make them available to the public.

The Commission’s secretariat is provided by the Ministry of Health.
