This section applies to the piercing of the auricle and the wing of the nose using the ear piercing gun technique.
The technique referred to in article R. 1311-6 may only be used by: -persons who have made the declaration provided for in article R. 1311-2; -persons covered by collective agreements or whose main activity is referred to in the French nomenclature of activities, the lists of which are laid down by order of the Minister for Health.
Persons using the technique referred to in article R. 1311-6 must comply with general health and hygiene rules. It is forbidden to perform the techniques mentioned in articles R. 1311-1 and R. 1311-6 on a minor without the written consent of a person with parental authority or their guardian. Persons carrying out these practices on a minor must be able, for a period of three years, to present proof of this consent to the supervisory authorities mentioned in article L. 1312-1.
Persons performing the techniques referred to in articles R. 1311-1 and R. 1311-6 shall inform their customers, before they undergo these techniques, of the risks to which they are exposed and, after these techniques have been performed, of the precautions to be taken.
