Travel and subsistence expenses incurred by commercial court judges to attend initial and continuing training courses are reimbursed in accordance with the regulations in force applicable to civil servants.
The request to cover costs incurred in civil or criminal proceedings or before the commission for the admission of applications until referral to the national disciplinary commission provided for in article L. 724-2, in respect of functional protection is made in writing to the Minister of Justice.
The decision to cover the costs of functional protection shall state the facts in respect of which protection is granted. It shall specify the arrangements for organising the protection, in particular its duration, which may be that of the proceedings or the procedure.

In the event that the agreement provided for in article R. 722-31 of this code has not been concluded, the costs incurred shall be paid directly to the judge on presentation of the invoices paid by him.
