The provisions of I of article 721-2 are not applicable to convicts subject to a probationary suspension, socio-judicial monitoring, judicial supervision, home detention under electronic monitoring, external placement or semi-liberty and likely to be subject in this context to the obligations and prohibitions provided for by this article.

The sentence enforcement judge of the jurisdiction in which the person subject to monitoring pursuant to I of article 721-2 has his habitual residence, assisted by the prison integration and probation service, and where appropriate with the help of organisations authorised for this purpose, monitors compliance with the obligations and prohibitions to which the person is subject.
Where the provisions of I of article 721-2, the person must be summoned by the sentence enforcement judge of the judicial court in whose jurisdiction he is to reside, within a maximum period of one month from his release. This summons shall be served on the person in question by the head of the penitentiary establishment before the person is released.
Except in the case of non-compliance by the sentenced person with the supervision measures and prohibitions imposed on him pursuant to article 721-2, when the sentence enforcement judge modifies these obligations and prohibitions, he or she shall rule by order in accordance with the procedures set out in article 712-8.
The period during which the sentenced person must comply with the obligations and prohibitions imposed on him on the basis of Article 721-2 shall not be suspended if the sentenced person is imprisoned again.
