Article 706-77 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure
The public prosecutor at a judicial court may, for offences falling within the scope of Articles 706-73, with the exception of 11° and 18°, 706-73-1 and 706-74, request the investigating judge to relinquish jurisdiction in favour of the competent investigating court pursuant to Article 706-75.
