A disabled worker is any person whose ability to obtain or keep a job is effectively reduced as a result of the impairment of one or more physical, sensory, mental or psychological functions.
Disabled worker status is recognised by the Commission des droits et de l’autonomie des personnes handicapées (Commission on the Rights and Independence of Disabled People) referred to in article L. 241-5 du code de l’action sociale et des familles.
