The person against whom a warning or fine is issued may challenge the administration’s decision before the administrative court, to the exclusion of any hierarchical appeal.
Fines are recovered in accordance with the procedures laid down for State debts other than taxes and property. Objection to enforcement or opposition to prosecution does not have the effect of suspending recovery of the debt.
The detailed rules for the application of this section shall be laid down by decree in the Conseil d’Etat.

The provisions of this code relating to the powers and obligations of the labour inspectors mentioned in article L. 8112-1 are extended to medical labour inspectors with the exception of the provisions of article L. 8113-7, relating to official reports, article L. 4721-4, relating to formal notices and articles L. 8115-1 to L. 8115-7, relating to administrative sanctions.
With a view to preventing occupational illnesses, medical labour inspectors are authorised to take samples for analysis purposes, particularly of the materials and products used.

The prevention engineers of the regional directorates for companies, competition, consumption, labour and employment are prohibited from revealing manufacturing secrets and operating processes of which they may become aware in the course of their duties. Failure to comply with these prohibitions is punishable in accordance witharticle 226-13 of the French Criminal Code.
