The public or private training bodies mentioned in article L. 6325-2 may not make the enrolment of an employee on a professionalisation contract conditional upon the latter paying a financial contribution of any kind.
The employer undertakes to provide the employee with training enabling him to acquire a vocational qualification and to provide him with a job related to this objective for the duration of the fixed-term contract or the vocational training course under the open-ended contract. The employee undertakes to work on behalf of his employer and to follow the training provided for in the contract.
For each employee on a professionalisation contract, the employer appoints a tutor to provide support. A decree sets out the conditions for this appointment, as well as the tasks and conditions of the tutor’s role.
Holders of a professionalisation contract are not taken into account when calculating the number of employees simultaneously absent on training leave for the application of articles L. 6323-17-1 to L. 6323-17-5.

The holder of a professionalisation contract benefits from all the provisions applicable to the other employees of the company insofar as they are not incompatible with the training requirements.
Minors holding a vocational training contract may be authorised to use work equipment forbidden to young workers during their vocational training, under conditions defined by decree.
