The intervention of the inter-company college for safety, health and working conditions does not alter the nature and extent of the responsibilities incumbent on the participants in the building or civil engineering operation pursuant to the other provisions of this code, or the powers of the staff representative bodies responsible for health, safety and working conditions.
Employees appointed as members of the inter-company college have the necessary time, paid as working time, to attend meetings of this college.
Except in the cases provided for in Article L. 4532-7, as the design, study and development phases of the project progress and the work is completed, the project owner shall have a file compiled and completed by the coordinator, containing all the information required to facilitate the prevention of occupational risks during subsequent interventions.

The rules for preventing risks to the health and safety of workers resulting from the handling of loads are determined by decree of the Conseil d’Etat issued pursuant to Article L. 4111-6.
The provisions of this book are applicable to private-law employers and employees. They also apply to the establishments mentioned in 1°, 2° and 3° of article L. 4111-1.
By way of derogation from articles L. 1111-2 and L. 1111-3, for the application of section 1 of chapter III of title II of book VI of the fourth part of the regulatory part, a decree in the Conseil d’Etat sets the conditions under which the number of employees and the rules for crossing workforce thresholds are determined.
Self-employed workers covered by Book VI of the Social Security Code may join the inter-company occupational health and prevention service of their choice. They benefit from a specific range of services relating to occupational risk prevention, individual monitoring and prevention of occupational exclusion. The terms of application of this article shall be determined by decree.
