An order of the mayor assigns in perpetuity, in the cemetery, a fitted ossuary where the exhumed remains are immediately reburied. No one may, without authorisation, erect any dwelling or dig any well within 100 metres of new cemeteries transferred out of the communes. Military graves are subject to the provisions of articles L. 498 to L. 514 of the code des pensions militaires d’invalidité et des victimes de la guerre.
Any private individual may, without authorisation, have a sepulchral stone or other marker placed on the grave of a relative or friend. .
The mayor may set maximum dimensions for monuments erected on the graves.
