Article L1612-20 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

I. – The provisions of this chapter are applicable to municipal and inter-municipal public establishments. II. – They shall also apply, with the exception of article L. 1612-7 : – to departmental and interdepartmental public establishments; – to public establishments common to communes and departments; – to public establishments common to local authorities or groupings of such authorities and to public establishments; – to regional and interregional public establishments.
