The regional council ensures the dissemination of information to its elected members by the material means it deems most appropriate. In order to enable the exchange of information on matters within its remit, the regional council may, under the conditions defined by its deliberative assembly, make available to its elected members, on an individual basis, the necessary computer and telecommunications resources.
At least twelve days before the meeting of the Regional Council, the President shall send the Regional Councillors a report, in whatever form, on each of the matters to be submitted to them. The reports on each of the matters to be submitted to the Standing Committee shall be forwarded at least eight days before its meeting, in accordance with the conditions laid down in article L. 4132-18.
Each year the President reports to the Regional Council, in a special report, on the situation of the region, the state of implementation of the regional plan, and the activity and financing of the various departments of the region and the bodies that depend on it. Regional councillors have the right to present oral questions relating to regional affairs at meetings of the Regional Council. The rules of procedure determine the frequency of such questions and the conditions under which they are presented and examined.
