The construction of the premises must everywhere include an impermeable floor or a floor coated with substances that allow frequent washing. Walls and partitions must be coated with washable paint, preferably light-coloured. Windows must be free of double curtains and the floor of any fabric carpet that is not easily washable.
The premises are ventilated and cleaned every day. The premises must be thoroughly washed once a fortnight.
Ventilation must be permanent and designed to function in all seasons, without causing discomfort to patients. The minimum temperature of the premises must never be lower than 18° C.
All spa establishments must comply strictly with the regulations governing water collection, analysis, supply, distribution and use.
Waste water must be disposed of in accordance with hygiene regulations. Toilets and WCs must be sufficient in number, well-ventilated and ventilated.
